Responsibilities :

Electrical Systems Modeling : Creating 3D models of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems using BIM software such as Revit MEP, AutoCAD MEP, or others.

Coordination : Collaborating with architects, structural engineers, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with other building components.

Clash Detection and Resolution : Conducting clash detection analysis to identify and resolve conflicts between electrical systems and other building elements.

Documentation : Generating detailed construction documents, including electrical drawings, schedules, specifications, and material quantities.

Skills :

BIM Software Proficiency : Advanced knowledge of BIM software such as Revit MEP, Navisworks, and AutoCAD MEP specifically tailored for electrical systems.

Interdisciplinary Coordination : Ability to collaborate effectively with architects, structural engineers, mechanical engineers, and other MEP disciplines to resolve design conflicts and ensure coordinated designs.

Problem Solving : Ability to identify and resolve design conflicts and issues related to electrical systems during the design and construction phases.

Communication Skills : Clear and effective communication skills to convey technical information to diverse stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and project team members.

Qualifications :

A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is typically required.

Certification or training in BIM software and electrical design tools.

Previous experience in electrical design, construction, or related fields is often preferred.
