Our Solution Center team works across the full business lifecycle, from strategy development and organizational design to implementation and performance improvement. We bring together multidisciplinary expertise to serve the 'whole client' — from C-suite executives to operational teams — ensuring alignment between vision, strategy, and execution. We operate across diverse sectors including Transportation, Energy & Power, Water & Environment, Cities & Places, and Advanced Facilities, enabling our consultants to work on high-impact programs that drive real change.

We are seeking a talented and versatile Principal Strategic Consultants with strong appreciation of economic and business environments, has an analytical and solution oriented approach, strong communication, and stakeholder engagement skills to join our growing team and collaborate with colleagues across the globe.

In this role, you will also be expected to develop high-impact, insight-rich reports that can be shared across the organization — often synthesizing findings from limited technical and non-technical documentation to inform strategic decision-making and drive alignment.

The primary function of this role will be working closely with the Middle East Advisory team on critical client projects to provide strategic insight and technical depth to help clients solve complex business challenges and deliver transformational outcomes

  • Delivering robust business analysis and strategic advisory services to support client decision-making, investment planning, and organizational transformation.
  • Supporting the growth of the management consulting practice by contributing to high-quality deliverables and fostering strong client relationships.
  • Providing timely and actionable business insights, identifying and pursuing new opportunities, and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Contributing to Jacobs' global consulting capability by building cross-regional relationships, sharing knowledge, and enabling seamless delivery across geographies.
  • Developing insightful reports and presentations that distil complex information into clear recommendations — often working with limited source material to create outputs that drive alignment and impact across client organizations.

Here's what you'll need

  • A postgraduate or professional qualification in economics, public policy, business administration (MBA), finance, engineering, planning, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in management consulting or strategic advisory roles, ideally with exposure to infrastructure, government, or capital-intensive sectors.
  • Proven experience in helping organizations improve performance by identifying and solving complex business problems, developing strategies, and providing expert advice to achieve goals like increasing growth and profitability, and transformation strategies
  • Exposure to diverse data, assessing organisational development structures, diagnosing operational gaps to crafting actionable strategies
  • Demonstrated ability in stakeholder engagement, negotiation and working within multi-disciplinary and cross-geography teams.
  • Abreast with economic, policy and regulatory environments, and experience in policy advisory, project management, and business development solutions
  • Excellent analytical capabilities, with a track record of producing high-impact reports — often developed from limited technical and non-technical documentation — that inform strategic decisions and are shared across client organizations.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and interpretation, and PowerPoint for executive-level presentations.
  • Experience in benchmarking, economic modelling, business cases writing is an added advantage
  • Ability to work across diverse client environments and to think out of the box
