Role Overview :
The Technical Architect will be responsible for designing and overseeing the technical architecture of the SAP TRM implementation. This includes ensuring system scalability, performance, integration, and alignment with business and regulatory requirements. The role demands strong expertise in SAP technologies, particularly in TRM, and the ability to collaborate with functional teams, developers, and stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience :
- 15 years of experience in SAP technical roles, with at least 5 years in SAP TRM projects.
- Strong knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, ABAP, Fiori / UI5, and SAP BTP.
- Experience with SAP PSCD, FI-CA, and integration technologies (PI / PO, CPI).
- Proven track record in designing scalable and secure SAP landscapes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with public sector or government tax systems.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities :
Architecture & Design
Define and document the overall technical architecture for SAP TRM and related components.Ensure alignment of technical design with business goals and TRM-specific requirements.Evaluate and recommend tools, platforms, and frameworks for optimal performance and scalability.Integration & Development Oversight
Oversee integration of SAP TRM with other SAP modules (e.g., FI, PSCD) and external systems.Guide development teams on custom objects, enhancements, and interfaces.Ensure adherence to SAP best practices and coding standards.Performance & Security
Conduct performance tuning and optimization of SAP TRM applications.Ensure compliance with security standards, data protection, and audit requirements.Collaborate with Basis and Infrastructure teams for system setup and maintenance.Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with Functional Architects, Business Analysts, and Project Managers.Participate in solution workshops and technical discussions with customer stakeholders.Provide technical guidance and support during UAT, cutover, and go-live phases.Documentation & Governance
Maintain technical documentation including architecture diagrams, integration specs, and configuration guides.Support governance processes including code reviews, change management, and release planning.
