Position Overview

We’re looking for a Senior Backend Developer (SD3) with 5–8 years of experience who can lead by example. You’ll play a pivotal role in designing backend systems, mentoring developers, and contributing to architectural decisions. This role demands strong hands-on skills in Node.js, Nest.js, and Express.js, along with a deep understanding of scalable microservices, cloud infrastructure, and modern backend patterns.

Key Responsibilities

Architect, design, and develop high-performance backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js, Nest.js, and Express.js.

Build and scale microservices for business-critical modules in a distributed environment.

Own the entire backend development lifecycle from technical design to deployment and monitoring.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical efforts with business goals.

Integrate systems with SQL and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Cosmos DB.

Optimize applications for performance, security, fault tolerance, and scalability.

Lead and participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical strategy.

Work with DevOps to manage CI / CD pipelines, Docker containers, and Azure deployments.

Champion coding best practices, SOLID principles, and clean architecture across the team.

Mentor junior and mid-level developers through hands-on guidance and technical leadership.

Stay ahead of backend trends and introduce modern tools and practices to the team.

Bring domain expertise in Insurance, FinTech, or BFSI to deliver context-aware engineering solutions.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

5–8 years of experience in backend development, with expertise in Node.js, Nest.js, and Express.js.

Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Object-Oriented Programming.
