Job Description :

  • Handles all IT products like servers, lease lines, networks, firewalls, PRI, etc.
  • Provides support and maintenance through a ticketing tool.
  • Manages IT assets and tracks them for maintenance and software updates.
  • Knowledge of SonicWall Firewall is required.
  • Configures and troubleshoots firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs, DHCP, NAT policies, bandwidth management, port management, access rules, and DNS.
  • Monitors and implements antivirus policies.
  • Configures, maintains, and troubleshoots network printers.
  • Responsible for maintaining the company's strategy by designing, implementing, and maintaining servers and software.
  • Installs, configures, and troubleshoots software for end-users.
  • Configures and troubleshoots desktops / laptops for L1, L2, and L3 levels and manages backups and recovery.
  • Resolves hardware problems and installs applications.
  • Has exposure to Windows server / Linux and Asterisk server.
  • Installs, sets up, and maintains networks and configures peripherals, cabling, and equipment as needed.
  • Analyzes whether repairs or replacements are necessary in a timely manner.

Job Specifications :

  • Proven work experience as a Desktop Support Engineer.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows / Linux / Mac OS environments.
  • Working knowledge of office automation products and computer peripherals like printers and scanners.
  • Knowledge of network security practices and anti-virus programs.
  • Addresses user tickets for issues regarding hardware, software, and networking.
  • Maintains a log of job tickets and maintenance tasks
