Job Title : Principal Product Designer
Location : Bangalore
Type : 6-Month Contract (possibility of extension)
Experience Required : 5–7 years in B2C product design
We are hiring a Principal Product Designer to guide the end-to-end design process for consumer-facing products. You will play a critical role in shaping intuitive, scalable, and visually engaging experiences that resonate with users across web and mobile platforms.
As a design leader, you will balance hands-on design craft with mentoring responsibilities, ensuring both strategic alignment and executional excellence. You'll collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and researchers to define and deliver impactful solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design process from discovery through delivery for core product features.
- Translate research insights and business objectives into compelling design solutions.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and final designs for web and mobile applications.
- Conduct usability testing to validate flows and improve product usability.
- Develop and maintain scalable design systems across teams and platforms.
- Collaborate with engineers to ensure design fidelity during implementation.
- Mentor junior designers, providing feedback and guidance to raise design quality.
What You Bring
