Position Summary

The Site Director is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, and operational excellence of the chemical manufacturing site. This role ensures that all production, quality, safety, environmental, and compliance objectives are met in alignment with corporate goals and regulatory requirements. The Site Director oversees cross-functional teams, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and manages resources effectively to deliver high-quality chemical products safely, on time, and within budget. Serving as the key liaison between site operations and executive leadership, the Site Director plays a critical role in fostering a culture of safety, innovation, compliance, and performance.

• Develop and execute manufacturing strategy and plans that align with the organization's goals, contributing to its long-term success.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and efficiency enhancement across different departments and functions within manufacturing.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the manufacturing facility including production, maintenance, logistics, and safety.
• Allocate and manage resources effectively to ensure smooth operations, including budgeting, staffing, and capacity planning.
• Develop and implement site-level strategies aligned with corporate goals
• Provide leadership and direction to production staff and operational teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational success and regularly assess and report on performance against these metrics.
• Drive safe working conditions with focus on EHS principles and company prescribed guidelines. Develop and implement contingency plans to address disruptions to business continuity.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, health and safety standards, and legal requirements related to the organization's manufacturing and shop-floor operations.
• Lead and develop cross-functional teams including Production, EHS, Maintenance / Engineering, and Supply Chain.
• Lead and manage organizational change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to operations.
• Manage relationships with external vendors, suppliers, and partners to optimize collaborations and negotiate favorable terms.
• Oversee raw material procurement, inventory control, and production planning.
