You’ll work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure that every release meets the highest standards of reliability, usability, and performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test cases for web and mobile applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing on all builds.
- Identify, log, and track bugs using standard tools like JIRA / Trello / ClickUp.
- Collaborate with the development team to understand features, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
- Create and maintain test plans, test scenarios, and test documentation.
- Validate API responses and perform backend testing using tools like Postman or Insomnia.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and release reviews.
- Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing for frontend components.
- Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance product quality and QA efficiency.
- Maintain automation scripts (if applicable) using frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
Qualifications
2–3 years of experience in manual and / or automation testing.Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and defect life cycles.Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).Experience with API testing tools (Postman / Swagger).Familiarity with Selenium / Cypress / Playwright / Appium is a plus.Knowledge of SQL and basic database validation.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent attention to detail, documentation, and communication skills.Preferred Skills
Experience testing mobile apps (iOS & Android).Exposure to CI / CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).Basic understanding of version control (Git).Knowledge of performance testing using tools like JMeter.Experience working with Agile / Scrum teams.Education
