Job descriptionArtificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AI / ML) Data Science & Big Data Analytics Cloud Computing & Distributed Systems Cyber Security & Blockchain Internet of Things (IoT) Software Engineering & DevOps High Performance Computing Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering (mandatory for Associate Professor / Professor positions). First-class Master’s degree in CSE or related specialization (mandatory for Assistant Professor). Demonstrated teaching / research experience at a recognized institution. Strong research record with publications in reputed journals / conferences (SCI / Scopus indexed preferred). Ability to attract external funding and build collaborations with academia / industry. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills. Be part of a vibrant and growing academic community committed to excellence. About the Role : Presidency University invites applications from dynamic, passionate, and research-driven candidates for faculty positions in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in CSE.
- Supervise student projects, internships, and dissertations.
- Undertake independent and collaborative research leading to high-impact publications.
- Develop funded research / consultancy projects in collaboration with industry and government agencies.
- Mentor students in academic, research, and career development activities.
- Contribute to curriculum design, academic planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Engage in departmental / University committees and professional activities.
