Job Description – Tax Technology Specialist / / Tax Engineer

Location : India

Experience : 6+ years

Primary Responsibilities

Partner with Finance, Accounting, Engineering, and other business teams to implement tax software and automate key processes.
Define and coordinate technology requirements for the Tax Department.
Develop business requirement documents, including a comprehensive data strategy and roadmap.
Configure and optimize tax technology solutions using tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, Snowflake, Pyramid, and Python .
Manage and collaborate with multiple external vendors supporting tax processes.
Stay ahead of emerging tax technology trends, continuously refining the tax technology strategy for maximum effectiveness.

Qualifications & Experience

6+ years of relevant experience with a strong foundation in Engineering and Tax .

Proven project management skills, with experience handling multiple projects simultaneously.

Solid knowledge of US and / or UK Tax frameworks.

Hands-on expertise in at least one of the following : Snowflake, Thomson Reuters OneSource, Alteryx, Pyramid, Python, Salesforce, RPA, or Microsoft Suite .

Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional technology and business teams.

Experience designing, developing, and implementing tax technology solutions across the full project lifecycle.

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Independent, proactive, and self-motivated professional.

Bachelor’s degree (B.S. / B.A.) required.
