Legal Assistant – Real Estate

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Real Estate Legal Assistant, to handle all legal matters pertaining to real estate transactions, land acquisition, redevelopment and property compliance in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

• Responsibilities :
• Drafting and Vetting : Sales Deeds, Development Agreement (Joint Ventures, JDA), MOUs, NDAs, Lease Deeds.
• RERA compliance : Registrations, project updates, agreement formats as per RERA norms.
• Liaising with external advocates, consultants, and clients.
• Maintaining legal records, contracts and case files.
• Providing general legal and administrative support to management.
• Requirements :
• LLB - mandatory, LL.M - preferably in Property Law / Real Estate Law / Business Law (optional but desirable).
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
• 5-10 years’ experience in property / real estate legal work preferred.
• Familiarity with Companies Act, Transfer of Property Act, Stamp Act and Registration Act.
• Ability to liaise with Chartered Accountants and Architects for compliance related matters
• Experience in handling joint development / redevelopment projects.
