Summary :
A Senior US Tax Accountant at Ashley Furniture manages critical tax operations for one of America's largest furniture manufacturers and retailers. Primary Job Functions :
1. Prepare and file State sales tax, property tax returns & other indirect taxes and supporting schedules
2. Manage state tax returns across multiple jurisdictions where Ashley operates
3. Strong analytical skills
4. Calculate and document monthly / quarterly tax provisions and effective tax rates
5. Monitor and ensure compliance with state and local tax regulations
6. Maintain tax workpapers and documentation for audit support
7. Perform tax research and analyze impacts of new tax laws
8. Coordinate with external tax advisors and auditors
9. Manage tax software systems and ensure data accuracy
10. Prepare monthly / quarterly tax payments and tax account reconciliations
11. Demonstrate the Company’s Core and Growth Values in the performance of all job functions.
Education : CA / MBA Finance / M.com / B.com degree in business / related field / equivalent work experience, Required
