Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly experienced and expert SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) VC (Variant Configuration) Lead Functional Consultant with 7+ years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate must be a subject matter expert capable of translating complex business requirements into robust Variant Configuration models. This role requires deep, hands-on expertise in setting up complete VC models, managing object dependencies, and configuring complex variant pricing. You will be critical in designing and implementing high-performing, integrated VC solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Business Requirements Translation : Serve as the functional lead to deeply understand complex business requirements and accurately translate them into comprehensive Variant Configuration models within SAP.
• VC Model Setup : Design and implement the complete VC model setup, including the creation and management of configurable materials and material variants.
• Dependency Management : Expertly write and manage object dependencies, dependency nets, and selection criteria to enforce configuration rules and logical constraints within the sales and production processes.
• BOM & Routing Integration : Apply a thorough understanding of Bill of Materials (BOMs) and routing level dependencies to ensure accurate production and cost planning based on the variant configuration selection.
• Variant Pricing : Design and set up complex Variant Pricing procedures, including the use of multiple characteristics to determine pricing conditions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., SD, PP, CO) to ensure the seamless integration and performance of the VC model across the entire order-to-cash process.
