Job Title : Enterprise Cybersecurity Lead India

Primary Function :
Lead the implementation of enterprise-wide cybersecurity programs in India, ensuring alignment with global strategies and compliance with local regulations.
Act as the primary cybersecurity liaison for India operations, working closely with Enterprise Cyber Security & IT functions, local IT teams, and business partners.
Key Responsibilities :
Strategic Leadership :
- Align the cybersecurity posture of India operations with the global enterprise strategy.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all cybersecurity matters in India.
- Lead cybersecurity integration for acquisitions and new business units.
- Represent the organizations cybersecurity stance in approved external industry forums.
Governance & Compliance :
Ensure adherence to all applicable cybersecurity regulations impacting India.Liaise with CERT-In for incident reporting and regulatory coordination.Oversee the implementation of cybersecurity certifications and regulatory directives.Monitor changes in Indian cyber laws and recommend policy updates accordingly.Risk Management :
Conduct regular cyber risk assessments tailored to the Indian threat landscape.Present risk posture reports to both enterprise and local leadership.Oversee the deployment of controls to mitigate identified risks.Incident Response (IR) :
Act as the in-country liaison during cybersecurity incidents.Coordinate with the global Cyber Incident Response team and local authorities (e., CERT-In) to ensure timely and effective resolution.Education & Awareness :
Develop and deliver localized cybersecurity training programs to enhance workforce resilience.Collaborate with global teams to tailor content for Indian employees and contractors.Management & Operational Leadership :
Provide oversight to in-country cybersecurity staff (direct or dotted line).Ensure effective delivery of global cybersecurity services.Mentor and develop team members to build local capabilities.Education & Experience Requirements :
Mandatory : Bachelors degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Experience :
12+ years of hands-on experience in threat and vulnerability management, web application security, penetration testing, or cyber threat intelligence.Experience working in large, matrixed environments.Minimum 3 years of experience with vulnerability scanners such as Nucleus or Qualys.Certifications : CISSP preferred; other relevant cybersecurity certifications are an advantage.
