React Native Developer

About the Role Flyde Studio is looking for a React Native Developer who can translate thoughtful design into clean, performant mobile applications.

You’ll be working alongside a design-led team to deliver polished user experiences for both startups and established brands. This role requires a strong grasp of mobile development principles, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate closely with UI / UX designers, backend engineers, and project managers.

Responsibilities Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native

Convert Figma designs into functional, responsive interfaces

Optimize application performance and responsiveness

Integrate APIs, third-party libraries, and native modules

Collaborate with backend and design teams to ensure seamless delivery

Conduct code reviews and write clean, reusable, well-documented code

Debug production issues and implement timely fixes

Participate in sprint planning and provide technical input during project scoping

Requirements 2+ years of professional experience with React Native

Solid understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript

Strong knowledge of React hooks, state management (Redux or Context), and component architecture

Experience with mobile-specific concerns such as gesture handling, navigation, and async storage

Familiarity with API integration, push notifications, and app publishing workflows (App Store / Play Store)

Version control proficiency (Git)

Preferred (Not Mandatory) Experience working with Expo and custom native modules

Exposure to tools like Fastlane, Bitrise, Firebase, or OTA update systems

Background in working with design systems or component libraries

Comfortable collaborating with a fully remote team
