Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the IT interface for business requirements; coordinate with internal teams and vendors to fulfil plant IT needs.
- Provide onsite support for laptops, desktops, printers, CCTV’s, Dell Servers, Cisco devices, firewalls, access systems & other IT HW’s.
- Support shop-floor applications, production/quality systems, rugged devices, and other manufacturing-related IT solutions.
- Ensure timely incident resolution in coordination with Service Desk/Tech Table per India field-services workflow.
- Oversee IT asset management including deployment, upkeep, stock control, health checks, and physical audits.
- Manage vendor coordination for hardware repairs, cabling, AMC, and infrastructure activities.
- Maintain IT/server rooms including backups, equipment checks, and compliance with safety/security norms.
- Support plant rollouts such as FSQA/Digital TPM, and other initiatives.
- Ensure continuous availability and performance of LAN/WAN (wired & wireless). Manage SD-WAN, firewall, Active Directory, O365, and Veeam backups.
- Work with AWS/Azure vendors for cloud infrastructure administration.
- Execute hardware/software/network upgrades, relocations, and installations efficiently.
Troubleshoot systems, networks, and applications with support from COE teams and vendors.
Experience:
- 7–8 years of relevant experience.
- Good knowledge of Windows, LAN, SUSE/Dell servers, telecom systems, Office 365, system/network security, SD-WAN, VMware/V-Centre.
- Experience in SAP DR (desirable).
- Skilled in vendor management and relationship handling.
Knowledge of AWS/Azure cloud infra, Cisco switches/routers, Fortinet firewalls, Active Directory, Aruba controllers/Access Points.
