One of our B2C portfolio companies is hyper-scaling, and they are now looking to hire a New Product Development Lead to help them build a D2C range of products from the ground up.
Responsibilities
- Lead the product development process from ideation and research to sourcing, production, and launch
- Identify new product opportunities by analyzing market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback
- Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery
- Create and manage project timelines and budgets for all new product initiatives
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop compelling product stories, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.
- Coordinate with the operations team to ensure a smooth transition from development to inventory management and fulfillment.
- Conduct and analyze product performance post-launch, using data to inform future product decisions.
Qualifications
At least 5+ years of experience in product development, brand management, or a similar role, preferably within the D2C or consumer goods spaceProven track record of successfully launching new D2C productsStrong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partnersAnalytical mindset with the ability to use data to inform decisions.A genuine passion for the startup ecosystem and building things from scratchPlease apply to this role directly on LinkedIn.
