About Our Team
E-PIC is Elsevier's flagship product for librarians and administrators, designed to support our customers in making informed decisions to evaluate and enhance research outcomes. Last year, we saw a record number of customers accessing E-PIC, and we are excited about our upcoming initiatives aimed at further elevating the customer experience.
Our engineering team is granted autonomy and full ownership of product features, fostering a cross-disciplinary environment that includes expertise in design, development, quality assurance, and cloud infrastructure. The team embraces Agile methodologies, a DevOps culture, and Continuous Delivery practices. The E-PIC squad continuously explores innovative ideas with a mindset that encourages experimentation and learning, operating under a 'You build it, you run it' philosophy.
About The Role
We are looking for someone who can make an impactful contribution in designing and building out our data visualisation and reporting tool.
As we migrate from our legacy JavaScript application to React, the successful candidate will be expected to complete spikes and work full-stack, implementing back-end, front-end, and infrastructure as code changes.
To develop a deeper understanding of the product, it's essential to work closely with team members and learn directly from their experiences. Embrace opportunities to pair with colleagues, remain committed to continuous learning, and actively contribute to mentoring and knowledge sharing within the team.
