Key Responsibilities
You'll be responsible for monitoring, detecting and responding to any potential security threats and risks to the organisation, using the available technology toolset.
Correlate and consolidate alerts, reports, anomalies and other intelligence sources to put threats into context
Determine incident urgency and priority and initiate an appropriate response.
Continuously improve the accuracy and relevance of the Bank's detection tools and capabilities to keep pace with changing environments for regulatory and compliance requirements.
Skills and Experience
You'll have hands on experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms, Integrated Data Service (IDS) platforms and security monitoring tools, preferably within financial services.
Proven experience in incident response and threat detection, with strong knowledge of banking security regulations.
Demonstrable scripting and programming skills and experience with cloud security platforms.
Experience of intrusion detection methodologies and techniques for detecting host and network-based intrusions.
Network security architecture concepts including topology, protocols, components, and principles (e.g., application of defence-in-depth).
Knowledge of new and emerging information technology (IT) and cybersecurity technologies.
Knowledge of vulnerability information dissemination sources (e.g., alerts, advisories, errata, and bulletins).
