FleishmanHillard is currently seeking an experienced corporate communications consultant to partner with a global client in the healthcare industry to provide counsel and appropriately position the client within India. This role requires an understanding of current events, the economic environment, and a general understanding of industry knowledge / trends to develop meaningful communication strategies for the client.
What you will do :
- This person will work side-by-side with the client to develop key internal and external presentations, including talking points, speeches, and slides.
- Support in developing and leading communication strategy to position the client with key external stakeholders. May include speaking engagements, media relations, digital strategy, sponsorships, communication materials development, and other external positioning activities.
- Cultivate solid media relationships with key editors and influential outlets to drive positive news outcomes for the client.
- Development of print, electronic, and other materials related to external activities. Oversee maintenance of distribution lists and databases, and timely distribution of news releases, photos, information packages, and other materials for the client.
- Support in developing and implementing a strategic plan to communicate the client’s purpose and mission and the organizational goals of the client.
- Support for key client leadership meetings and communications platforms to help the client drive a culture of engagement in the organization.
- Support the client’s internal communications programming, which could include the employee intranet and portal, email updates, publications, webcasts, townhalls etc.
- Appropriately position the client’s employee CSR efforts, including heightening awareness with corporate on specific programs.
- Assist the client with reputation management through clear, consistent and credible communication with the media.
- Assist the client to formulate story ideas and form productive relationships with members of the traditional and digital and social media world to drive coverage of the company.
- Develop and execute proactive media relations strategies and key media messaging for the client ahead of media interviews and key external events
- Assist the client to proactively and strategically manage various media inquiries with timely, respectful and informed responses; has a keen eye in detecting communication issues and escalating.
