Guidewire Technical Architect

Job roles and responsibilities :

• 10+ years of guidewire implementations, and upgrades in the Insurance products.
• Own end-to-end architecture for Guidewire implementations (PC / BC / CC).
• Guidewire implementations, and upgrades in the Insurance products.
• Define the technical architecture, roadmap and design for Guidewire Claim Center implementations, including on-premises, cloud, and hybrid deployments, aligning with the client's enterprise architecture standards.
• Design scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions within Guidewire and integrated systems.
• Develop architectural blueprints, technical roadmaps, and strategies for Guidewire Claim Center that support long-term business goals and evolving technology landscapes.
• Strong experience with Guidewire Cloud, Edge APIs, GOSU programming.
• Evaluate new Guidewire features, modules, and industry trends (e.G., AI / ML integration, microservices, cloud-native patterns) to recommend strategic adoption.
• Experience with DevOps, CI / CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes is a plus.
• Provide architectural leadership on large-scale Guidewire projects including greenfield implementations and cloud migrations.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to senior management, business stakeholders, and project teams, articulating complex technical concepts clearly.
• Expertise in web services (REST / SOAP), data modeling, microservices.
• Responsible for technical solutioning, understanding the nuances of the Guidewire Claim Center platform to best address business requirements.
• Define non-functional requirements such as performance, scalability, security, availability, and disaster recovery for Claim Center and ensure designs meet these requirements.
• Provide expert technical leadership and guidance to development teams (senior developers, developers, and integrators)
• Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure the quality, maintainability, and performance of the codebase.
