Intro and job overview :

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying applications in our next-gen Data Integrity Suite platform based on k8’s. You will work closely with Software engineers, data scientists, and product managers to develop and deploy data-driven solutions that deliver business value.

This role requires the candidate to do coding 80% of the time.

Responsibilities and Duties :

• 10+ years of experience in backend development.
• Extensive experience in Core Java, Java Microservices and familiarity with frameworks like Micronaut, sprint boot and Data structure etc.
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker, Docker compose etc.).
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
• Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis, etc.).
• Understanding of RESTful API design principles.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Understanding of Helm charts based deployments on K8s.
• Familiarity with Devops Jargon.
• Familiarity with shipping docker containers.
• Understanding of Application performance metrics tools and observability frameworks – Data Dog, ELK etc.
• Understanding of GraalVM is desirable.
• Understanding of EFS ,nVME , S3 etc.
• Familiarity of Persistant volume claims(PVC) in kubernetes.
