- Assist in selecting appropriate sensors (temperature, pressure, strain, vibration, etc.) based on system requirements.
- Contribute to sensor mounting, wiring, shielding, and grounding practices.
- Work on signal conditioning, calibration, and interface circuitry to maintain signal integrity.
- Integrate sensors with data acquisition systems (DAQ) such as NI, HBM, Beckhoff, and Dewesoft etc.
- Support telemetry sensor mapping, wiring harness documentation, and BOM preparation.
- Collaborate with GNC, propulsion, structures, thermal, and avionics teams for instrumentation planning.
- Participate in environmental and functional tests (thermal, vibration, EMI / EMC).
- Assist in pre-flight checkout and health monitoring of instrumentation systems.
- Follow aerospace standards and safety practices during instrumentation activities.
- Coordinate with vendors for sensor procurement, calibration, and qualification.
- Lead and mentor a team of instrumentation engineers and technicians; conduct design reviews and audits.
