Position Summary :
The Cybersecurity Solution (Presale) is responsible for leading cybersecurity presales activities, crafting secure and scalable solutions for enterprise clients, supporting RFP / RFI processes, and driving the technical win in competitive deals. The role requires broad cybersecurity knowledge, strong presentation skills, and the ability to work with Sales, Delivery, Product, and customer stakeholders to build commercially viable and technically robust solutions.
Job Description :
- Lead cybersecurity presales engagements for Cloud Security , Technical Security Testing , Security Tools management , Identity and Access management , Cyber Defense and Risk & Compliance opportunities.
- Conduct discovery workshops with customers to understand business, technical, and security requirements.
- Build solution architectures and high-level designs across AWS, GCP, Azure and hybrid environments.
- Prepare and respond to RFPs / RFIs by developing solution narratives, diagrams, estimates, and technical differentiators.
- Collaborate with cloud architects, development teams, network / security engineers and stakeholders to validate secure design approaches.
- Present cybersecurity solutions, service offerings, and value propositions to customers and internal leadership.
- Review customer architectures and identify gaps, risks, and required security controls.
- Recommend security controls for cloud environments, containers / Kubernetes, SaaS applications, data platforms, and AI / ML workloads.
- Create presales collateral including solution decks, capability documents, service catalogs, and reusable templates.
- Work with product and marketing teams to craft GTMs, service playbooks, and battle cards for cybersecurity offerings.
- Keep abreast of cybersecurity trends, market changes, competitor capabilities and new cloud-native security features.
- Support pricing and commercial modeling in collaboration with finance and delivery teams.
- Engage in design and solution review sessions ensuring adherence to secure architecture principles and best practices.
- Work with sales teams to drive pipeline growth and improve win rates for cybersecurity opportunities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-interaction presales environment with multiple simultaneous engagements.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations, workshops, and industry events as required.
Profile Description :
Strong expertise across cybersecurity domains including Cloud Security, IAM, AppSec, Data Security, Network Security, Threat Modelling, Zero Trust, Cyber Defense and Security Architecture best practices.15+ years of extensive cybersecurity pre-sales experience with exposure in IT services industry.Strong understanding of compliance and security frameworks such as ISO 27001, HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC2, CSA CCM, CIS Benchmarks.Proven experience in cybersecurity solution design, proposal creation, RFP / RFI responses, and technical bid defense.Hands-on understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and native cloud security services, along with ability to architect end-to-end cloud security solutions.Familiarity with STRIDE, PASTA and threat modelling techniques, and experience with logging / monitoring, encryption, identity, data protection and secure SDLC.Experience with CASB, CSPM, CWPP, SIEM / SOAR, SASE, EDR / XDR and broader security tooling ecosystem.Strong ability to translate business requirements into security solutions and present them effectively to customers, including C-level stakeholders.Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills with experience pitching cybersecurity services and solutions.Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, and cloud security certifications are a plus.
