5+ years (Exclusively in JIRA Administration , at least 2 yrs in JIRA Align)
Key Responsibilities :
- Administer, configure, and maintain Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, and related Atlassian products.
- Create and manage workflows, screens, schemes, fields, permissions, and notifications.
- Develop and maintain automation rules to enhance efficiency and reduce manual tasks.
- Install, manage, and integrate third-party marketplace plugins and add-ons.
- Manage Jira projects, boards (Scrum / Kanban), issue types, and templates for different business units.
- Support user onboarding, access permissions, and troubleshooting.
- Monitor system performance, perform upgrades, and coordinate with vendors when required.
- Create and maintain reports, dashboards, filters, and project metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, DevOps, QA, Business, PMO) to gather requirements and implement Jira solutions.
- Develop and maintain Jira documentation, SOPs, and best practices.
- Ensure data integrity, backups, and security compliance.
Preferred Skills & Experience :
5- 7 years of proven hands-on experience as a Jira Administrator.Strong understanding of Jira workflows, schemes, and automation.Experience with Confluence, Bitbucket, Service Desk, and Opsgenie is a plus.Proficiency in Jira Query Language (JQL) and dashboard / report creation.Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies.Experience with API integration and scripting (Groovy, Python, Shell, or similar) is an advantage.Knowledge of user and license management.Experience working with cloud and / or on-prem Jira environments.(ref : hirist.tech)
