Ensure that social issues and social management activates are mainstreamed into the design and plan at the Project level. Hold discussions with the PAPs, NGOs, MMRDA Project Staff, Supervision Consultants and contractors and guide them in addressing social issues with particular reference to resettlement and rehabilitation, tribal and gender development. Assess the completeness and appropriateness of the Social Management PLans / Resettlement Action Plans (RAPs).Monitor land acquisition and Progress od RR implementation. Supervise and monitor the activates of RAP implementation. Develop communication strategy for disclosure of RAP.Liaison with district administration for governments income generation and development programmes applicable for PAPs.Monitor physical and financial progress on land acquisition and RR activites. Review the monitoring reports prepared by the External ME Agency.Liaison and coordination with different departments of MMRDA, Government, NGOs, PAPs other stakeholders.Prepare and implement, as an on-going activity, plan for training and capacity building of the project functionaries to address social iussues associated with the project.Skills Required
