Key Responsibilities :
1. Application Development :
- Design, develop, and maintain decision services using FICO Blaze Advisor .
- Build business rules, rule flows, decision tables, and templates per business requirements.
- Integrate Blaze decision services with core applications and databases using APIs.
2. Business Rules & Strategy Management :
Translate business logic and decisioning strategies into executable rules.Work with risk and product teams to understand policy, credit, and regulatory requirements.Ensure traceability, versioning, and auditability of rules and decisions.3. Testing & Validation :
Perform unit and system testing for Blaze decision logic.Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and resolve issues or enhancements.Validate rule execution for performance and accuracy.4. Documentation & Compliance :
Maintain technical documentation, version control, and rule traceability matrices.Ensure all changes adhere to governance and compliance standards (e.g., audit trails, change control).5. Performance Optimization & Support :
Monitor performance of Blaze decision services in production.Optimize rule execution and decision tree structures for efficiency.Troubleshoot production issues and provide Level 2 / 3 support when needed.Key Requirements :
Education :Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.Experience :3–7 years of experience in software development, with at least 2–3 years hands-on in FICO Blaze Advisor .Experience with Java, REST APIs, and rule-based engines.Skills :Strong command of FICO Blaze Advisor development and rule maintenanceProficiency in Java / J2EE technologiesExperience with XML, JSON, Web Services, and relational databases (SQL)Familiarity with CI / CD tools (Jenkins, Git), and DevOps practicesStrong problem-solving and communication skillsSkills Required
