Senior Automation Test Engineer – Java, Selenium, API Testing

Job Description : We are looking for a

Senior Automation Test Engineer

with strong hands-on experience in Java, Selenium, and API testing. The ideal candidate should have deep technical and functional testing expertise and the ability to design and execute automation frameworks in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform end-to-end testing activities including

functional, system integration, and user acceptance testing

(UAT).

Analyze business requirements and translate them into optimized

test scenarios and test cases .

Develop and execute

automation test scripts

using Java, Selenium, and BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.

Conduct

API testing

(REST / SOAP) using tools like Postman or RestAssured.

Estimate test efforts, identify dependencies, and plan testing activities.

Execute tests (manual and automated), track defects, and work closely with developers and business teams for resolution.

Provide regular test status updates and ensure high-quality deliverables.

Mandatory Skills :

6+ years of hands-on experience in

Java, Selenium, Automation, Cucumber (BDD), and API Testing .

Strong knowledge of

automation frameworks

and scripting best practices.

Good understanding of

testing processes, methodologies, and tools .
