Job descriptionETL Testing : Design, develop, and execute test cases to validate ETL processes, ensuring data extraction, transformation, and loading adhere to business rules and functional specifications. Data Validation : Verify data integrity and accuracy between source systems, staging areas, and the final Data Warehouse / Data Marts. Good understanding of data warehousing concepts. SQL : Write and optimize complex SQL queries to perform data analysis and reconciliation checks against large datasets. Power BI Testing : Validate the underlying data correctness, visualization logic of reports, dashboards, and data models built within Microsoft Power BI. Defect Management : Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects, working closely with data engineering and development teams to ensure timely resolution. Experience : 5+ years of experience in Data Warehouse (DWH) and ETL testing, at least one year of BI testing. SQL Expertise : Excellent proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, including joins, subqueries, and analytical functions, for data validation and reconciliation. DWH Knowledge : Solid theoretical and practical understanding of Data Warehousing concepts and OLAP / OLTP principles. BI Tool Testing : Proven experience in testing reports, dashboards, and data sources utilizing a major Business Intelligence platform, with specific experience in Power BI testing being essential. Communication : Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (written and verbal). About Position :
We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer having a strong foundation in data quality assurance, DWH & ETL testing experience, good SQL skills, and experience validating reports built on BI platforms like Power BI.
