Job description

We are seeking a talented entry-level pastry chef to join our culinary team. As a Pastry Chef, you will prepare a variety of desserts, pastries, and baked goods.

Key Responsibilities :

Food Preparation and Execution :

  • Prepare and produce a range of desserts, pastries, and baked goods according to recipes and standards.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of pastry and baking supplies.

Quality Control :

  • Uphold high standards of food quality and consistency.
  • Conduct regular tastings and evaluations to ensure flavours, textures, and presentation meet expectations.
  • Safety and Sanitation :

  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Qualifications :

    Extensive knowledge of baking techniques, methods, and kitchen equipment.

    Creative flair and passion for developing new recipes and dessert presentations.

    Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

    Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.

    Formal culinary education or equivalent experience preferred.

    Additional Requirements :

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.

  • Salary up to 17.5k.
