Key Responsibilities

• Industry Knowledge : Familiar with Financial Services or Settlement Systems.
• IT Management Tools : Exposure to tools like ServiceNow & JIRA for incident and task management.
• Infrastructure : Understand IT hardware, networking, operating systems, and Active Directory.
• Cloud Experience : Work with cloud platforms such as Azure, or GCP.
• Configuration Management : Manage and maintain configuration settings for applications and infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Certificate Management : Handle the issuance, renewal, and management of SSL certificates.
• Databases : Proficient in SQL and database management.
• Scripting : Strong knowledge of PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ansible, .NET or JavaScript.
• Application Performance / System Monitoring : Ensure high availability and reliability by using either of tools like SolarWinds, AppDynamics, DotCom, Dynatrace, Site24 / 7, Grafana or NewRelic.
• Middleware Tools : Support middleware and automation tools like ActiveBatch, RabbitMQ, UiPath, and Tibco.
• Infrastructure Design : Designing and maintaining scalable, secure infrastructure.
• Release Management : Implement, Monitor, and manage CI / CD pipelines.
• Collaboration : Work with development teams for smooth application delivery.
• Security : Follow security best practices and address vulnerabilities.
• 24 / 7 Support : Provide on-call support for critical issues.
• Continuous Improvement : Enhance system performance and scalability.
• Knowledge Management : Document and share knowledge effectively (SharePoint & Confluence)
• ITIL Framework : Well versed with ITIL best practices.
• Mentorship : Engage with team members and provide mentorship to foster growth and knowledge sharing.
• Engagements : Participate in project planning, execution, and delivery to ensure alignment with DevOps practices.
• Problem Management : conducting RCA and blameless postmortems.
