About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead SoC Verification Engineer to drive verification strategy and execution for cutting-edge SoC designs. This role requires deep expertise in SoC Verification methodologies , with strong hands-on experience in PCIe Gen5 / 6, Ethernet, and DDR subsystems . As a technical leader, you will architect verification environments, mentor junior engineers, and ensure first-pass silicon success for complex, high-performance SoCs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead SoC-level verification planning, environment development, and execution.
  • Architect and implement UVM-based testbenches for complex SoC designs.
  • Drive verification of high-speed interfaces including PCIe Gen5 / 6, Ethernet, and DDR.
  • Collaborate with design, architecture, and validation teams to define verification strategies.
  • Own coverage metrics, regression strategies, and sign-off criteria.
  • Mentor and guide a team of verification engineers across multiple projects.
  • Identify and implement automation to improve verification efficiency.

Required Skills & Expertise

  • Strong background in SoC Verification with 6–12+ years of experience.
  • Hands-on expertise in PCIe Gen5 / 6, Ethernet, DDR protocols .
  • Proficiency in SystemVerilog, UVM, and verification methodologies .
  • Experience with simulation, emulation, and FPGA prototyping .
  • Solid understanding of SoC architecture, bus protocols (AXI / AHB), and cache coherency.
  • Strong debugging skills and familiarity with waveform analysis tools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
