Role Overview :
The Team Leader – Business Development will lead a team of BDMs to generate new business opportunities and drive revenue growth. The individual must have hands-on experience in the IT / services industry and demonstrate strong leadership, accountability, and a passion for achieving results.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and motivate a team of business development managers to meet sales and revenue targets.
- Identify new business opportunities in IT infrastructure, services, and solutions.
- Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Conduct regular team reviews and ensure individual accountability for business outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams (pre-sales, delivery, and finance) for end-to-end deal management.
- Prepare and present weekly / monthly performance reports to management.
- Drive a performance-driven, collaborative, and learning-oriented team culture.
Desired Profile :
Graduate / MBA with 6–10 years of experience in IT or services sales.Proven experience in team handling and business generation.Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and managed services domain.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Result-oriented, energetic, and capable of motivating teams.
