SAP PS Consultant

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree

in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.

8+ years

of experience as an SAP PS consultant, with a proven track record of leading complex SAP PS implementations.

Expertise in

SAP Project System (PS)

with hands-on experience in designing, configuring, and optimizing SAP PS modules (WBS, networks, project planning, costing, and settlement).

Strong knowledge of integration points with other SAP modules like

FICO, MM, SD, and PM .

Deep understanding of

SAP S / 4HANA , including experience with upgrades or migrations from SAP ECC to S / 4HANA.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced

Senior SAP PS Consultant

to join our team. This is an advanced-level position that requires deep expertise in SAP Project System (PS) modules, with a focus on strategic project management, system integration, and team leadership. As a Senior Consultant, you will play a key role in the successful implementation, optimization, and support of SAP PS solutions. You will also guide and mentor junior consultants and lead client-facing engagements to ensure best practices are followed throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities :

Project Leadership :

Lead and manage end-to-end SAP PS projects, ensuring successful implementation, from planning to execution. Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure the solution aligns with business goals and objectives.

Solution Design & Configuration :

Take responsibility for designing and configuring complex SAP PS solutions tailored to client needs. Oversee the configuration of core components such as WBS (Work Breakdown Structure), networks, cost planning, project budgeting, milestones, and settlements.

Cross-Module Integration :

Collaborate closely with experts in SAP FICO, MM, SD, and PM to ensure seamless integration and effective data flow across systems, enhancing the overall project management solution.

Client Engagement :

Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expertise and recommendations to optimize SAP PS functionality. Lead client workshops and presentations to gather business requirements and present solutions.

Team Leadership & Mentorship :

Mentor and guide junior SAP PS consultants and support their professional development. Take responsibility for knowledge transfer and ensure the team follows best practices for configuration and implementation.

Process Optimization :

Assess current project management processes and identify opportunities for improvement through SAP PS solutions. Design and implement solutions that streamline project tracking, cost control, and reporting.

Training & Support :

Lead user training sessions and provide post-implementation support. Create comprehensive documentation, including configuration guides, user manuals, and training materials.

Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution :

Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex issues within SAP PS, utilizing advanced problem-solving techniques to resolve functional and technical challenges. Collaborate with technical teams to implement custom solutions where necessary.

Preferred Qualifications :

SAP certification in

SAP Project System (PS)

or related modules (e.g., SAP Project Management).

Experience with

Agile or Hybrid Project Management methodologies .

Experience in industries such as

construction, engineering, manufacturing , or

utilities .

Proficiency with

SAP BW / BI

for reporting or other SAP analytics tools is a plus.

Knowledge of

SAP Fiori

and modern user interface technologies for enhancing user experience.
