The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of business domains and be able to align their edits with marketing goals and brand messaging.

• In using premiere Pro for video editing.
• With After Effects, particularly for animations.
• In handling graphic and animations effectively.
• A strong aesthetic sence and attention to detail.
• Prepare the creative studio, checking that all equipment is functioning, setting up appropriate lighting.
• Create innovative concepts for original video content for all areas of MR PORTER
• Lead all video projects across the brand, from concept through to shoot and production
• Be responsible for all shoot research, set-up and execution
• Set up and film all video content for ‘The Journal’, behind the scenes, interviews and Fashion Week footage both on location and in studio
• Attend editorial meetings, and work with wider Creative team, to produce viable video content ideas which will drive engagement and product sales in a visually beautiful and editorial way
• Work closely with the Production team to plan and produce all video content within budget and to agreed timeframes
• Create, update and develop all graphic assets for video content, and liaise with the design teams on specific graphic and design needs
• Editing, quality controlling, and mastering material for external distribution
• Hands-on experience with Brightcove and YouTube Creator is a plus
• Position requires sound video pre-production, production, and post-production skills, photography, both studio and location shooting
