Group Coordinator

JOB PURPOSE

The Group Coordinator will act as the point of contact for a group of coders, ensuring smooth workflow coordination, assisting in tracking deliverables, and supporting the team in maintaining quality and turnaround times.

REQUIREMENTS

Education

Bachelor's degree in life sciences or equivalent

Experience / Qualification

• CPC / CCS or equivalent certified
• Minimum 4–6 years of coding experience with at least 1–2 years in a leadership role
• Experience in [specialty : E / M, ED, IPDRG, Radiology, etc.] preferred
• Strong understanding of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, and modifiers
• Basic understanding of coding principles and coding software
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Strong in data tracking, reporting, and follow-ups
• Detail-oriented with a sense of ownership
