Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and proactive

Database Administrator (DBA)

with strong expertise in

PostgreSQL ,

MongoDB , and

Linux administration . The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of database architectures, be adept at scripting, and committed to ensuring data integrity, security, and availability across systems.

Key Responsibilities :

Manage and maintain PostgreSQL and MongoDB databases in production and development environments.

Administer Linux-based database servers, including setup, configuration, tuning, and patching.

Develop and manage backup and recovery plans to ensure data protection and high availability.

Monitor database performance and implement changes for optimization.

Write and maintain efficient Bash / Shell scripts for automation and system management.

Ensure compliance with database security protocols and implement best practices.

Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to support integration and deployment.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to database systems with minimal downtime.

Maintain documentation for database systems, configurations, and procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Hands-on experience with Linux administration

is essential.

Strong knowledge of

PostgreSQL

and

MongoDB

databases.

Solid understanding of

database concepts, design, and normalization .

Experience with

database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning .

Proficiency in

Bash / Shell scripting .

Familiarity with

database security standards

and practices.

Excellent

problem-solving skills

and keen attention to detail.

Effective

communication

and

interpersonal skills .

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.

Quick learner with a proactive mindset and the ability to adapt to new technologies.
