Job Description :
We're looking for an experienced and results-driven SAP Project Manager to join our team in Chennai.
This role focuses on managing and leading SAP support projects and continuous improvement initiatives for our clients.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP modules, project management methodologies, and a proven track record of successfully delivering post-go-live support and :
- Project Leadership & Management : Lead and manage end-to-end SAP support projects, including bug fixes, system enhancements, and minor upgrades.
- Stakeholder Management : Act as the primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders. Facilitate regular status meetings, steering committees, and progress reporting to leadership and stakeholders.
- Team Coordination : Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including SAP functional and technical consultants, developers, and business analysts to ensure timely and effective resolution of support tickets and delivery of new functionalities.
- Scope & Delivery : Define and manage project scope, goals, and deliverables. Ensure all project tasks are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Risk & Issue Management : Proactively identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks and issues. Implement corrective actions and communicate potential impacts to stakeholders.
- Change Management : Oversee the change control process for all enhancements and bug fixes, ensuring proper documentation, testing, and approval before deployment.
- Documentation & Reporting : Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and lessons learned.
- Continuous Improvement : Drive process improvements and innovation within the SAP support framework to increase efficiency and enhance user experience.
Qualifications :
Experience : 6 to 9 years of overall experience in SAP, with a minimum of 3+ years in a project management role, specifically managing SAP support, maintenance, or continuous improvement projects.
Technical Skills :
Strong understanding of SAP architecture and landscape.Familiarity with key SAP modules (e.g., FI / CO, MM, SD, PP, HCM).Proficiency in project management tools like Jira, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.Soft Skills :
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.Strong client-facing skills with a focus on building and maintaining positive relationships.Education : Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
Certifications : Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or SAP Activate certification is preferred
