Lead Mechanical Engineer (Power)

We are seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer to join our team, focusing on power plant projects. This role requires extensive experience and a comprehensive understanding of mechanical engineering principles. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader, capable of managing complex projects, mentoring a team, and coordinating with various stakeholders across different locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership : Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the mechanical engineering team.
• Design Coordination : Coordinate project design assignments and work across multiple disciplines. Conduct functional reviews of detailed pipe routing to ensure conformance with design requirements.
• Vendor & Equipment Management : Interface with equipment suppliers and vendors. Administer equipment contracts, including change evaluation and coordinating technical issues.
• Project Management : Work closely with the U.S. team to communicate project status and ensure quality, schedule, and budget adherence. Participate in project audits.
• Technical Expertise : Participate in model reviews to resolve clashes and conduct constructability reviews. Handle power projects independently and provide senior-level guidance.
