Responsibilities within data governance processes for various teams including but not limited to : Data Stewardship, Data Sourcing, Data Platforms, Reporting and Analytics, Enterprise Data Governance team, affiliates, regions, brand teams, Digital and various others
- Develop and maintain easy-to-understand and easy-to-maintain, smart documentation such as guidelines, SOPs, business glossaries, process maps, RACI on data governance processes and practices
- Own and execute data quality framework including profiling, monitoring, observability in alignment with key stakeholders
- Evaluate and help evolve training support required to uplift capabilities in the use of new capabilities enabling data governance and its components, working closely with relevant stakeholders.
- Manage third party providers on as needed basis and ensure deliverables fully meet contractual obligations and are of highest caliber.
- Embed an Ethics and Compliance culture and Integrity in Action by proactively addressing non-compliance.

Quality and timeliness of deliverables, smooth data operations and stewardship, and strategic support for assigned products / projects based on feedback from key partners and cross-functional colleagues including quality of the collaboration.Ability to meet / exceed established key milestones related to major projects.Management of projects within approved operating budget.Organizational Context :

Required
Undergraduate or equivalent degree in Computer Science or ITMinimum 7 years of experience across all of : data governance, data quality, data management , data enablement, data democratization in a global pharma in commercial or medical affairs domainSolid experience with data products, data catalogue, data marketplace and governance processes around themProficiency with Databricks and its componentsProficiency with Data Quality tools and components (Profiling, Monitoring, Observability)Proficiency with Data Cataloging tools as well as Data Marketplace toolsSolid experience of Agile methodology and design thinkingFamiliarity with Data Governance tools like MS Purview or CollibraFamiliarity with next generation technologies and methods in pharma commercial such as data mesh and its data governance, AI applicationsUnderstanding SQL, Python and / or R, full confidence with MS Excel and Power PointGood knowledge of Data Privacy and Data Compliance policies and proceduresExcellent Business Analysis skills with critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to ask the right questionsExperience of developing business cases, articulating customer gains / pains / journey definitionAutomation mindset with track record of operationalizing processes with QA embedded.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of employees including senior management, able to effectively influence and deliver resultsExcellent verbal / written communication skills, attention to details with an ability to understand the 'big picture' and the ability to multi-task.Excellent organizational, planning and project management skills and ability to effectively manage cross-functional projects of moderate complexity in a multi-cultural context, including vendor management, regulatory & legal compliance, etc.Ability to work independently in a dynamic fast-paced environment, with minimal supervision.Ability to act with a sense of urgency while being responsive to changing business priorities.Preferred
