Job Overview

WTF Gyms is seeking a highly talented and creative UI / UX Designer to join our dynamic team immediately. The UI / UX Designer will be responsible for designing intuitive and engaging interfaces for our digital platforms, including the WTF Gyms dashboard, member app, trainer app, and website. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Figma and other design tools, a strong portfolio showcasing innovative UI / UX designs, and a passion for creating user-centered solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. User Interface (UI) Design

Dashboard Design : Create intuitive and visually appealing interfaces for the WTF Gyms dashboard.

Mobile App Design : Develop user interfaces for the member app and trainer app, ensuring a seamless user experience.

Website Design : Design engaging and user-friendly interfaces for the WTF Gyms website.

Tool Proficiency : Expert use of Figma for all UI design tasks. Proficiency in additional tools like Sketch, Adobe XD, and InVision is a plus.

Consistency : Ensure design consistency across all platforms by adhering to WTF Gyms’ brand guidelines and design systems.

2. User Experience (UX) Design

User Research : Conduct user research to understand user behaviors, needs, and motivations through observations, interviews, and usability testing.

User Stories and Personas : Develop user stories and personas to represent different user types that might use WTF Gyms’ platforms.

Information Architecture : Create information architecture and user journey maps to improve user flow.

Prototyping : Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design ideas effectively.

Usability Testing : Plan and conduct usability testing sessions, analyze results, and iterate designs based on user feedback.

3. Creative Thinking and Design Process

Creative Ideation : Brainstorm and conceptualize creative ideas that align with WTF Gyms’ business goals and user needs.

Design Process : Implement and refine the design process, from conceptualization to final implementation.

Collaboration : Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure that designs are feasible and aligned with project goals.

Design Thinking : Apply design thinking principles to solve complex design problems and deliver human-centered solutions.

4. Design Research and Analysis

Market Research : Stay updated with industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies.

Data Analysis : Analyze user data and feedback to identify patterns and insights.

A / B Testing : Conduct A / B testing to compare different design solutions and determine the most effective approach.

Continuous Improvement : Continuously gather and analyze data to improve the design and user experience.

5. End-to-End Design Execution

Project Management : Manage design projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.

Design Documentation : Maintain comprehensive documentation of design processes, guidelines, and specifications.

Implementation Support : Collaborate with development teams to ensure that designs are implemented accurately and effectively.

Design Reviews : Conduct regular design reviews and critiques to ensure continuous improvement.

6. User Journeys and Personas

User Journey Maps : Create detailed user journey maps that outline the steps users take to achieve their goals.

User Personas : Develop comprehensive user personas that represent the key characteristics of WTF Gyms’ user base.

Scenario Planning : Use scenarios and storyboards to visualize user interactions and identify potential pain points.

User-Centered Design : Ensure that all design decisions are informed by a deep understanding of the users and their needs.

7. Continuous Learning and Improvement

Professional Development : Participate in training, workshops, and conferences to stay updated with the latest design trends and technologies.

Feedback Integration : Actively seek feedback from users and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement.

Innovation : Experiment with new tools, techniques, and design methodologies to push the boundaries of design at WTF Gyms.

Required Qualifications and Skills

1. Education and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree : A degree in UI / UX Design, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related field. Experience : At least 3-5 years of experience in UI / UX design, preferably in the fitness or related industry.

2. Technical Skills Design Tools :

Proficient in Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Sketch, and other design tools. Prototyping Tools : Experience with prototyping tools such as InVision,

Axure, or Marvel. Portfolio : A strong portfolio showcasing creative and innovative UI / UX design work.

3. Key Competencies Creativity :

A high level of creativity and an eye for detail.

Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Time Management : Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Adaptability : Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
