Job description

We are looking for a proactive and experienced

SAP PLM Consultant

to join our team and support the delivery of SAP PLM solutions in alignment with business priorities and the overall SAP PLM roadmap. This role blends product ownership, functional consulting, and coordination across cross-functional teams to drive high-impact business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with the SAP PLM Tech Team

to define and deliver scalable and future-proof PLM solutions.

Act as a Product Owner

in Agile / Scrum ceremoniesprioritize user stories, manage backlogs, and organize sprints to maximize value within team capacity.

Identify potential risks early and proactively implement mitigation strategies.

Provide hands-on assistance with

technical configuration, solution design, and root cause analysis

as needed.

Monitor BAU (Business As Usual)

operations to ensure ongoing issues do not interfere with project delivery or sprint goals.

Represent SAP PLM Tech in key program calls—communicate progress, dependencies, risks, and next steps to stakeholders.

Manage project budgets , track progress against timelines, and ensure optimal resource utilization.

Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to maintain alignment on priorities and ensure that delivered solutions meet business needs.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Tech, QRC, GCV, CPI, and Operations for seamless delivery and timely issue resolution.

Required Qualifications & Experience

5+ years of experience

as a

Product Owner, Functional Consultant, Project Manager, or Business Consultant

in SAP environments.

Strong domain expertise in

SAP PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) , with exposure to related modules such as

SAP MM, PP / PE .

Hands-on experience in

technical configuration , issue resolution, and

root cause analysis .

Deep understanding of

SAP PLM architecture

and solution design principles.

Proficient in

Agile / Scrum methodologies

and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, or equivalent).

Familiarity with

BAU support processes

and experience managing production issues in live systems.

Excellent

communication skills —able to effectively engage with both business and technical stakeholders at all levels.

Proven ability to

deliver business value , prioritize competing demands, and improve end-user experiences.

Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage

multiple priorities

simultaneously in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

SAP PLM certifications or training

Experience working in a global delivery model or with distributed teams

Knowledge of integration technologies (e.g., SAP CPI, BTP)
