Developer Role and Responsibilities
As a Project Manager officer , you will be responsible for driving project governance, portfolio management, and strategic reporting across multiple initiatives. You will lead the PMO function, ensuring adherence to organizational standards, optimizing processes, and enabling leadership with actionable insights. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, advanced Excel proficiency, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Expected Activities :
- Own and manage PMO governance frameworks , ensuring compliance across all projects and programs.
- Lead development of portfolio dashboards, KPIs, and executive reports using advanced Excel (pivot tables, macros / VBA, complex formulas) and visualization tools (Power BI / Tableau).
- Drive data analysis and trend identification to support strategic decision-making and resource optimization.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial tracking for projects and programs.
- Facilitate executive governance meetings , presenting insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Mentor and coach PMO analysts and project coordinators, fostering a culture of excellence.
- Collaborate with delivery teams to identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement .
- Continuously refine PMO processes for efficiency and scalability.
Qualifications and Skills
5+ years of experience in PMO, program management, or portfolio governance roles.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including macros / VBA, complex modeling, and automation).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).Solid understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid) and tools (MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet).Experience in financial management for projects (budgeting, cost tracking, variance analysis).Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.PMP, PgMP, or similar certification preferred.Desired characteristics in candidates
