Sales Executive – India Market | Packaging & FMCG Supply Chain | Onsite | Pune

Location : Pune, Maharashtra (Onsite)

Experience - 2-4 Years

Role Overview :

We are seeking a Sales Executive to support our India sales team. This role is primarily operational and execution-focused , working closely with the Sales Manager to drive growth with distributors, converters, and HoReCa brands.

You’ll handle day-to-day sales operations, client coordination, and ensure smooth execution of pilots and orders. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career to gain hands-on experience in sales, market engagement, and client management —with a clear growth path into larger business development responsibilities.

We are a fast-growing sustainability-driven startup creating biodegradable, ocean-safe packaging solutions from seaweed. We partner with leading distributors, converters, and food brands across India and global markets to replace single-use plastics.

Key Responsibilities :

Sales Support & Operations

  • Assist Sales Manager with execution of sales plans, lead follow-ups, and pipeline tracking.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and order confirmations.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity and client interactions.

Client Management

  • Act as the first point of contact for existing customers and prospects.
  • Coordinate with clients on sampling, pilots, and order status.
  • Address queries and escalate issues as needed.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Work with supply chain, production, and operations teams for timely order execution.
  • Track and update delivery timelines.
  • Support documentation and compliance for domestic clients.
  • Market Engagement

  • Research and track opportunities across converters, distributors, and food service brands.
  • Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and customer meetings when required.
  • Collect market intelligence and feedback for business decisions.
