Job Description

As an ETL Tester, you will play a critical role in validating ETL processes and ensuring the accuracy of data extraction, transformation, and loading procedures. You will work closely with ETL developers, data engineers, and data analysts to establish high standards of data quality and integrity.

Skill Requirement :

• Experience in ETL testing and knowledge of ETL tools (e.G., Informatica, Talend).
• Good Understanding of the Azure Platform and Databricks.
• Proficiency in Python, PySpark to write a test script.
• Proficiency in SQL and database concepts.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
• Knowledge of dimensional modelling and data warehouse concepts.
• Proficiency in Unix / Linux & Shell scripting
• Create and execute test plans and test cases for ETL processes.
• Validate data flows and ensure data integrity across systems.
• Perform data validation and verification activities.
• Analyze and troubleshoot erroneous results, determine root causes, and log defects.
• Collaborate with development teams to resolve software-related defects.
• Review data models, data mappings, and architectural documentation.
• Write queries to extract data for test case data comparison.
• Ensure all sign-offs on deliverables and that testing meets governance requirements.
