BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

WORK EXPERIENCE : 3 TO 7 YEARS

LOCATION : DELHI / NCR, HYDERABAD, BANGALORE

Position Overview :

The Business Development Manager is a key position responsible for driving business growth and market share by managing and expanding a network of channel partners, including education consultants, universities, test preps, DSA and other strategic partnerships. This role requires a strategic and analytical individual who can not only build strong relationships but also track performance, drive revenue targets, and ensure a seamless student loan process from referral to disbursement.

Responsibilities :

  • Partnership Management and Onboarding : Identify, onboard, and cultivate strong relationships with educational consultants, study abroad agencies, universities test preps, DSA to secure student loan referrals.
  • Business Development : Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth in key geographical regions and student segments, supported by market research on industry trends and competitive insights.
  • Knowledge and Training : Conduct regular training and knowledge sessions with partners to increase their awareness of education financing products and streamline the referral process.
  • Performance Tracking and Analysis : Monitor partner performance, track student loan disbursements, and report on revenue targets. Maintain accurate sales pipeline reports and provide consistent performance updates to leadership.
  • Client Engagement : Build robust engagement channels for students and parents to enhance brand trust and conversion rates, while also focusing on client retention and identifying upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
  • Internal Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, operations) to deliver effective client solutions and improve overall service delivery.
  • External Representation : Act as a representative for the company at key education fairs and student counselling events to promote Edumate Global's brand.

Requirements :

  • Education : Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Operations, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Experience : 3-7 years of experience in banking, fintech, or a similar environment with a focus on managing partnerships and channel onboarding.
  • Skills : Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel and MIS reporting, excellent problem-solving skills, and a solid understanding of education loan workflows (e.g., eligibility, KYC, disbursement).
