What does the team do ?

At ShareChat, India’s largest vernacular content platform, the Content Operations team plays a pivotal role in defining and executing strategies for creating and acquiring impactful content, driving monetization efforts, and contributing to overall business growth. Collaborating with creators, partners, product teams, and feed teams, the team ensures the delivery of high-quality, engaging content that resonates with diverse Indian audiences across multiple formats, including audio and video.

As our Sound Designer, you'll be responsible for creating high-quality sound design elements and original music tailored for short-form promos and platform content. You will work closely with editors, writers and the marketing team to shape the sonic identity of our brand.

What You’ll Do?

• Design and produce sound effects (SFX) and ambient textures for micro dramas and promotional content.
• Compose and produce original music for promos, trailers, and brand assets.
• Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to align sound with visual storytelling and tone.
• Clean, mix, and master final audio for web and mobile playback.
• Maintain a sound library and recommend tools or plugins as needed.
• Ensure fast turnaround times without compromising quality.
