Technical Trainer II
We have an opportunity for a Technical Trainer II to join our global Education team, reporting to the Manager of Technical Education. You will play a crucial role in developing and delivering technical training content for our networking and cybersecurity products. This position requires close collaboration with education, product management, marketing, support, and engineering teams to ensure comprehensive and accurate training materials. Your primary goal is to become an expert in our emerging products, learning the ins and outs, and teaching the use of the product to our customers, partners, and employees.
Be a Contributor — What You'll Do
- Learn new product features and technologies by collaborating with education, product management, and engineering teams
- Stay up to date with the latest developments in networking and cybersecurity
- Create and update technical training materials, including manuals, guides, presentations, and online courses, ensuring alignment with product changes and industry trends
- Deliver live and virtual training to customers, partners, and internal teams, including remote sessions across different time zones and global travel (up to 25%)
- Apply adult learning principles to engage diverse audiences and support knowledge retention
- Tailor training to audience needs; assess learner understanding through practical exercises, labs, and knowledge checks; and provide feedback to improve content and delivery
- Act as a technical resource for the education team and support continuous improvement of training programs
Be Prepared — What You Bring
2–4 years of experience in networking or cybersecurity, with exposure to technical training or enablementStrong written and verbal communication skills in English, ability to explain complex concepts clearlySolid understanding of network and cybersecurity technologies, protocols, and use casesExperience contributing to the development and delivery of technical training contentOrganized, able to prioritize, and comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced environmentStrong sense of ownership, with a willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to industry trendsAbility to work effectively with cross-functional teams across different time zonesBachelor's degree in a related field preferred, or equivalent industry experience; technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, AWS, Cisco) are a plusBe Successful — Your Path
