Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a PGT Mathematics at Alchemy School, located in Surat, Gujarat. The primary responsibilities for this role include planning and delivering mathematics lessons, preparing engaging and effective instructional materials, and assessing student progress. The teacher will also develop and enhance the mathematics curriculum, foster critical thinking among students, and encourage a positive attitude towards mathematics. Collaboration with colleagues and timely communication with parents regarding student performance will also be key aspects of the role.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Mathematics and Mathematics Education
• Proficiency in Curriculum Development and Lesson Planning
• Strong Communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues
• Previous teaching experience, preferably at the secondary or senior secondary level
• Relevant teaching certifications and a Master's degree in Mathematics or a related field
• Passion for education and a student-centered teaching approach
• Proficiency in classroom management and the ability to cultivate a positive learning environment
