Job description

FICCI is looking to hire a Research Associate- Taxation.

Principal Accountabilities include :

Drafting Pre-& Post Memorandums and other representations
Preparing papers for briefing the FICCI Management about changes in Tax Laws and procedures and their implications for industry
Publish / come out with subject papers of topical interests
Regular interaction with Government as well as Industry
Organising seminars / workshops / events
Identifying Policy Issues and coming up with recommendations
Capacity building of Industry as well as Government

External interface

Govt. departments specifically Ministry of Finance

Constituents of FICCI Taxation Committee

Internal Interface

All sectoral Heads within FICCI (including other Sectoral Committees)

FICCI Presidium

Competencies

Technical

Able to comprehend and interpret Tax Laws

Expertise in Direct Tax Laws and GST

Generic

Should have excellent communication skills both written and oral

Computer Skills
